American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has made the list of 100 most powerful women in the world. Together with some of fashion’s heavyweights including designers Diane von Furstenberg and Miuccia Prada and soon-to-be-billionnaire model Gisele Bunchen, Wintour was ranked by Forbes along with other movers and shakers in the world of business, politics, culture and entertainment.

At last night’s 15th Annual Webby Awards, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe introduced Ms. Wintour, who gave quite the memorable speech for VOGUE.COM’s People’s Voice win in the awards’ fashion category. Memorisable would be more apt, as it was exactly a five-word speech. “Sometimes, geeks can be chic,” she said before quick darting off the stage.

Is it just us or is this old fashion lady look championed by Anna Wintour finally catching on? The famous editor’s elegant, ever-composed look – reminiscent a chic librarian who reads more VOGUE than Voltaire – has become one of the most recognizable in the world in fashion.
