VIDEO: Forbes ranks Anna Wintour 69th most powerful woman in the world

American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has made the list of 100 most powerful women in the world. Together with some of fashion’s heavyweights including designers Diane von Furstenberg and Miuccia Prada and soon-to-be-billionnaire model Gisele Bunchen, Wintour was ranked by Forbes along with other movers and shakers in the world of business, politics, culture and entertainment.

VIDEO: Anna Wintour speaks five words for Webby Awards acceptance speech

At last night’s 15th Annual Webby Awards, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe introduced Ms. Wintour, who gave quite the memorable speech for VOGUE.COM’s People’s Voice win in the awards’ fashion category. Memorisable would be more apt, as it was exactly a five-word speech. “Sometimes, geeks can be chic,” she said before quick darting off the stage.

You’ve seen it all over the past week – virtually all publications writing about the same thing over and over again, reviewing what has happened in the worlds of fashion and beauty during 2010, to make a lazy transition into the new year. Lady Gaga’s meat dress here, Carine Roitfeld’s canning from Vogue Paris there, it’s all been said. And we’re going to say it again, this time in quotes. Because who doesn’t love the Kaiser droning on innocently (and might we say cluelessly) about the flawlessness of Facebook, right?
