Parmigiani unveils AED 9.5 million Islamic Hijri clock

It’s a brand new year, we all know that, but a 9.5 million dirham-clock begs to differ. Swiss watchmaker Parmigiani Fleurier has a luxurious mechanical clock in its roster that is based on the Hegirian Calendar (or the Islamic Hijri), and that costs a fortune, obviously. We witnessed the unveiling of this clock a couple months back, and we must say that it is such a rare piece of opulent artifact, not to mention that it is the first of its kind.
