We commented once in the social media space that a little too much about the Versace for H&M collection has been leaked all over the web and quite interestingly on the pages of fashion glossies in the form of campaign images and editorials.

And now here’s another leak – a behind-the-scenes video of a television ad campaign – which gives us a deeper look into the clothes and how they wear, fall and move in real life.

Everyone’s already seen the entire collection by putting the pieces together and frankly, we’re not enjoying the lack of suspense. Last year, people had no idea who the star designer was going to be until just two months before the launch, quite the thriller when compared to the Versace for H&M announcement ^[2] which came almost two full seasons ahead of the November 2011 launch.

Is it going to translate into more sales? We can only gauge the difference if the Swedish retailer produces more Versace than they did Lanvin. Alber Elbaz’s H&M collection sold out on the first day in almost every store that carried the line, and there weren’t as many “previews” published about the collection. We’ll find out three Thursdays from now.
