The Christian Louboutin flagship boutique launched at the end of July 2011, the second stand alone boutique in Dubai and the third location within in the United Arab Emirates.

Located within the prestigious Dubai Mall, the largest shopping destination in the world, the flagship is placed firmly at the heart of luxury fashion in the region.

The boutique is situated on the mall’s dedicated shopping area, Fashion Avenue, and will retain signature Christian Louboutin design features such as the niche wall and use of acrylic displays, skillfully juxtaposed with exotic, handpicked textiles to create a modern yet artisanal aesthetic within the space that typifies the brand.

 New York based design firm 212box were appointed to work on the design and architectural build of the retail space with principal architect Eric Clough working closely alongside the designer. The flagship store concept was conceived to showcase the designer’s instantly recognizable collection within a dynamic and visually arresting setting which reflects his passion for travel through interiors sourced from Syria to Japan alongside subtle nods to his French heritage.

The space comprises seven dedicated shopping areas including an intimate VIP salon. The private shopping suite bears a collage of ceramic tiles embossed with letters and symbols of more than 32 world languages. The precise work required in the production of each tile echoes the level of craftsmanship employed in the making of each shoe and bag by the designer.

The boutique launched with a treasure trove of handbags, womens and mens shoes. Whether one is shopping for an easy day piece such as the Fred Flat or the glitzy glitter of the diminutive Sweety Charity bag, the flagship store holds your perfect pair. Store exclusives include a new take on classic styles such as Fifi in Burma strass, Bibi in Royal Suede, the Maykimay clutch in Hemantite Strass and new styles such as the Lady Clou who will spike up anyone’s wardrobe

The opening comes swiftly after the launch of the Saks Bahrain boutique in January this year, and a standalone store in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in June, adding to the labels growing presence within the Middle East.
