Uma Thurman launches Givenchy fragrance and makeup range in Dubai
After Paris Hilton(?) and Megan Fox came Uma Thurman, who recently joined the list of Dubai’s celeb visitors when she flew in to the city a couple weeks back to grace the launch of Givenchy’s new fragrance, Ange ou Étrange le Secret Elixir, and Je Veux La Lune makeup collection.
The exclusive – almost secret – affair gathered Dubai’s VIPs and top fashion press and was held at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on The Palm.
Givenchy’s floral fragrance is an enticing fusion of sparkling femininity, sensuality and voluptuousness – an explosion of Sambac jasmine and frangipani flower topped by fresh notes of Italian lemon and green tea, and trailed by subtle hints of vanilla and patchouli. The light and refreshing scent is a match for fashion’s flower power penchant this Summer 2011.
The French brand’s Je Veux La Lune A/W 2011 makeup collection introduces must-have talc-free face powder and eye shadow, limited edition bold evening shades of blush-glow and an all-new glittery blue eyeliner that creates a deep horizon and adds intensity to the eyes.
