You know us, just say Prada and we’re all ears. We don’t if it’s solely the fact that we’ve been missing the Italian luxury brand in Dubai for over a year now, but that certainly does help in getting us excited about the company’s new fragrance, Candy.

From the name itself, you can already guess that the new scent is sweet, but perhaps not as sweet as those fruity Victoria’s Secret sprays that people who can’t afford a decent perfume wear.

Candy is based on a layer of sweet caramel, with heart notes of benzoin – a vanilla-ish scent, and topped by an elegant cocktail of musky notes.

No news yet on where you can score this new saccharine scent locally, but everywhere else it’s available from August 2011. Prada stores are being built across the UAE as we write this, so we’re guessing they will stock this perfume when they open hopefully this Fall.
