Why we prefer mirrorless cameras to DSLRs
They don’t make you look pretentious
When you have a Facebook page devoted entirely to dissing DSLR owners who think they’re professional photographers just because they own one but can’t explain aperture to save their life, then you’ve got a serious problem.
The challenge with owning a full-fledged digital SLR is people automatically assume you know everything about photography and expect you to come up with amazing images. What if you just got into the craft and thus still take less than desirable photos? People will start thinking you’re a poser. Wouldn’t you rather be a sleeper and blow people away with images taken with something they never would have expected?

There’s a perfectly logical reason people find this pretentious and annoying.
