Grab an Aston Martin Cygnet at colette

Luxury automaker Aston Martin has partnered with chic Parisian boutique colette to launch yet another fashion-branded car, monickered Cygnet & colette, which you can buy like any other accessory at the store for €48,995 (~ AED 255,000).

So what has colette done to get its name on the car? They put blue highlights on the city driver’s paint job and upholstered the interior with bitter chocolate leather. Also, they threw a couple honeycomb stamped leather cushions in the cabin, gave it custom aluminium car keys, and included a “bespoke” car cover in the package – we hope it’s made of a leathery material that’s so luxurious it would help explain why the car is so expensive.

We know this is based on a Toyota, so why the glowing price tag? The Cygnet & Colette will be produced on a limited 14 unit run, so fashionistas who have that kind of dough to spend not on the latest pre-Fall designer pieces can rest assured that they will only share this weird marriage of fashion and auto tech with a select few.

Well, we mean the select group of 14 plus all the millions of Toyota IQ owners across the globe because no amount of “ultimate personalisation” can make it look unrecognisable from Toyota design from which the car is based.
