Winner of last year’s s*uce Design a Dress competition ^[2], Abu Dhabi interior designer and fashion new blood Hamda Al Fahim is beginning to warm up to the country’s style elite with the launch of her evening wear line.

The 25-year-old, Emirati interior design graduate from Zayed University has nurtured a passion for fashion design since she was a child, drawing and sketching designs for herself, family and friends. Hamda got her first big break when she won s*uce’s design a dress competition which allowed her to create a capsule collection for the local boutique and make her dream a reality.

Hamda’s new evening wear line follows a theme of dramatic glamour, using an understated palette of cool tones such as black, white and nude and contradicted by bold embellishments (think of feathers and sequins!) and eye-catching details that are perfect for the Gulf’s affinity for all things bling.
