Dubai Fashion Week FW2011: Nabrman
Having charmed audiences at DFW last season, the hugely popular abaya label, Nabrman returned with their Fall/Winter line.
Straying away from the conventional lexus crepe abaya material, the creations utilised thick winter friendly fabrics with a geometric grid pattern. Voluminous velvet abayas were interspersed with draped silk in muted colours. The fabric also made its way into a silk abaya in the form of collars and sleeve lining.
Highlights included an abaya with an empire-waist gown and front panelling; abayas draped from the bust with bands of tulle and crepe; a sequence of abayas with frills lining the length of the creations and abayas with tiered frill trimming on sleeve ends and hemlines.
Soft black frills made their way down the length of outfits as they also appeared as as trimmings on sleeve ends and sweeping hemlines. The abayas saw subtle colour infusions as floral attaches on the sleeves and hems in olive, lilac and soft pink.
Modest abayas in contrasting textures of black tulle and silk were accentuated with gentle drapes and soft pleats. With subtle adornments and gentle drapes, the outfits retained their old world charm.
The 18-outfit collection from the 4-year-old label continued to stay true to the Nabrman philosophy of simple elegance.

تعود دار “Nabrman” بعد أن سحرت الجماهير في الموسم الماضي من أسبوع دبي للموضة لتخلب ألبابهم هذا الموسم بمجموعتها للخريف والشتاء 2011.
وتبتعد الأزياء المبتكرة في هذه التشكيلة عن المواد المستخدمة عادة في عباءة الكريب المعروفة، فجاءت بأقمشة شتائية سميكة وقد اكتست بنقوش شبكية هندسية. وتزينت عباءات واسعة من المخمل بقطع مبعثرة من الحرير الانسيابي ذي الألوان الداكنة، وتوالى هذا النمط نفسه في عباءة حريرية تزينت بقطع مبعثرة من قماش آخر على الياقة وحواشي الأكمام.
ومن القطع التي شدت الأنظار عباءة مع ثوب يضيق عند الصدر وينفرج تحته ومزين بقطع قماشية طولية من الأمام، وعباءات منسدلة من الصدر مع أربطة من التول والكريب. وتوالت عباءات بتزيينات قماشية مجعدة على امتدادها، وأخرى بطبقات مجعدة على حواف الكمين والحواشي السفلية للعباءة نفسها.
وانتظمت تجعيدات من قماش أسود ناعم على امتداد الأزياء، وكذلك زينت حواف الأكمام والحواشي السفلية المتماوجة، واكتست العباءات بأطياف لونية متداخلة وازدانت أكمامها وأطرافها بحلي على أشكال زهور باللون الزيتوني والليلكي والوردي الفاتح.
وأبرزت الغلالات المنسدلة والثنيات الناعمة جمال العباءات ذات التصاميم البسيطة والمشغولة من أقمشة متباينة من التول والحرير الأسود. وحافظت الأزياء الثمانية عشر في هذه المجموعة على سحرها العالمي المعروف بفضل الحلي الناعمة والغلالات التي انسدلت بنعومة وانسيابية أخاذة، مؤكدة بذلك على وفائها لفلسفة دار “نابرمان” المتمثلة بالأناقة البسيطة.
