The thing we love about January in Dubai is that it’s the right kind of chilly. There isn’t much of a disconnect between staying warm and staying stylish. We’d all be sporting humiliatingly shapeless puffer vests and quilted bombers by now if we were in say, Paris or New York.

But that’s just not how we roll in around here. Dubai’s style glitterati is all about the sleek and the slick.

So for this week’s look on 52 Degrees of Fashion, we’re putting the focus on the winter coat and how differently the phrase is perceived here in Dubai. Local business manager Alex Callueng poses for us again in a black REISS coat, nothing underneath, and a pair of go-anywhere denim jeans from KOTON.
