Hakan Yilidirim is fast making a name in Europe and designed the winter collection based on the inspiration of living for the moment – the power of ‘nowism’. He has transcribed this in to a range which includes fun and flouncy striped dresses to structured jackets with flattering detail, slim-fit pants and skirts. Fashion-forward folk in the UAE can get their hands on the latest collection in the Mall of Emirates and Dubai Mall Koton stores.

Tight-fitting dresses with edgy cuts feature heavily throughout the collection making for high fashion office pieces, whilst chic lines appear in the detail of the winter coats adding a  signature elegance to the range. All the pieces are suitable for everyday apparel, creating a versatile and easy to wear collection.

The collection features smoky colours inlcuding greys, terracottas, military greens and burgundies, alongside warmer cinnamon tones, and combines cotton, wool and tweeds to give that slightly heavier winter feel. Smart greens, mustards and deep navy, bordering on electric blues also feature adding a splash of colour, whilst softer hues of brick soften the cold and lusterless look of winter clothes, catching the eye with an appealing new image.

Hakan Yildirm’s collection first made its debut in front of dedicated fashion followers during Istanbul Fashion Week in February 2010. The collection quickly caught the eye of the industry with the collection featuring swiftly afterwards at one of the most prestigious fashion events globally – London Fashion Week.
