Since September, we have been inundated with inquiries from Dubai’s uncontrollable shoppers, crazy excited about the upcoming year-end sale of Chalhoub Group and just dying to know the details of the next hush-hush shopaholics’ meet.

Well, now we know something. It’s happening this coming weekend, November 5 & 6, at its usual venue at the World Trade Centre (Zabeel Halls 2 & 3). You know the story: it’s a sale event for staff and family and friends of staff, but they let everyone in. So don’t let the “for friends and family of staff only” part rain on your bargain hunting parade.

Up for grabs are beauty products from Sephora and designer items from Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Baccarat, Chaumet, Swarovski, Dupont, and Carolina Herrera. If we missed some of the brands that Chalhoub carries, you can fill those in yourself.

We’ve said this before in a previous Chalhoub sale update back in June, but we’re going to say it again just in case you’ve forgotten our warning: Due to the volume of people expected to attend the sale, this is no event to model your off-the-runway RTWs and red-sole clackers to. Dress up a like fashion victim in an ill-fitting denim overall paired with Jimmy Choo Ugg boots if you have to; you never know when a stampede might occur. You’ve been warned.
