Good stuff abound in the Gulf, so much so that we don’t even have to look abroad for inspiration, but perhaps a harmonious relationship would strike the perfect balance.

In light of that, the UAE’s funkiest multibrand boutique s*uce is inviting you and your credit card (make sure the account is current, otherwise the point of bringing it along with you would be moot) to come over to the atrium at The Village Mall on Jumeirah Beach Road on October 13 and 14 for the launch of their annual Stars in our Eyes Shopathon event. Attendance is mandatory as s*uce will launch brand new collections by over 60 of the region’s designers.

You can expect the usual gold & diamond suspects from Bil Arabi and By Sophie, as well as a growing roster of local and regional designers, including Blush, Hilal Onat, Jewels and OTT among others, all of whom are going from strength to strength as they continue to dazzle the local style community with their creations. This year’s affair will also see several new and exciting brands including Le Monde d’Ines, 10th Muse, Wafa Saifi, clutch designers KayDee and local lovelies A & Z and ASWAD.

The event opens Wednesday night at 7pm and will stay open until midnight. But if you’re looking for a shop-til-you-drop adventure, the Thursday schedule will suit you better as s*uce can accomodate your retail therapy session from 10 am until midnight.
