We’ve had our sights on Dima’s promising collection since previewing her sketches six months ago. Lebanese-born Dubai-based evening wear designer Dima Ayad has now just launched her first collection of 18 stunning dresses. What set her designs, largely inspired by the Grecian era, apart is her intimate understanding of women’s shapes and her knack for designing for all body types – so this collection is definitely not exclusive to the size-zero club.

Her first collection, which we checked out at S*uce at the Dubai Mall last weekend, relies on clever draping to flatter the body with high-quality fabrics to enhance the silhouette. We say she’s one of the UAE’s top 10 designers to watch.
