Ankle boots are redundant if you’re tiny

Red elf bootIf there was one thing we would ask any vertically challenged woman to stay away from, it would be a pair of ankle boots – especially those with laces. They look scorchingly hot on long-legged slender catwalk model body types but don’t work for pretty much everybody else.

We don’t want to sound height-ist for singling out those who lack the much-needed inches by posting this. However, we just feel that this needs to be put out there to be picked up by anyone with an open mind.

So, here it goes. Ankle boots make anyone shorter than 5’3 look like an elf. You know, like those tiny people who helped the old shoemaker craft shoes while he was sleeping. It’s not a spitting image, but that’s what we get reminded of whenever we see someone not very tall in ankle boots – especially those with laces.

Don’t worry, though. There still is a world of options for you to become a few inches (six, preferably) taller. Just forget about ankle boots, if you can help it.

Look at these samples below. They kinda look like a helpful little elf would be in them, don’ t they?
